Gingham Puensum (7570 meters/24,836 feet)
Gingham Puensum is a mountain peak located between China and Bhutan border. It remains today’s highest unclimbed mountain because local government protects the mountain from outsider or any climbers since 1994. Local people around the mountain believe the peak of the mountain is the house of Holy Spirit and step on it would disturb them. Other factor, Bhutanese is unable to provide proper accommodation or rescue team and facility to safe unfortunate climbers incase accident occurs on the high peak.
Saser Kangri II East (7,513 meters/ prominence 1,450 m4)
Saser kangri II east is located in Kashmir territory around the border of India and China. Main reasons what make the mountain remain unclimbed is the lack of facility and back up. Asking permission to climb the mountain is hardly possible because it is located on different nations.
Labuche Kang III/East on Cho Oyu Complex Mountain (7250 meters)
The mountain is known as one of the highest unclaimed mountains in the world but the data is vary in different sources. It is unclear the first climber who has conquered the mountain for the first time.
