Although some say Christopher Columbus is hero and some other say he is colonial maniac who had respect to no life unless they embraced Christianity, Columbus is still one of the most renowned name in History. Here we are going to talk about some interesting fact about Christopher Columbus. Lets start with the first fact:
Fact 1:

He was born in 25 august 1451 and other data said, he was born in October 31, 1451. His father was Domenico Colombo, his brother was Bartholomew, and he had sailed since 10 years old

Fact 2:
Without the funding of Queen Isabella I de Castile, Columbus would not had his ticket to the new world. He was not a royal after all. He was simply a sailor with idea to explore new world after he heard it from his brother.
Fact 3:
It is wrong claim that Columbus was the first European who found America. 500 years before him, a Norse captain Leif Ericson found America first and made a colony in L’Anse aux meadows

Fact 4:
One of the biggest challenge he faced before started his first voyage was dealing with Churches Doctrine who embraced a fate that earth was flat.

Fact 5:

Active prisoners with suspension reward accompanied Columbus first voyage. Only the prisoners he got to complete his passion. There was no soldier or royal representatives onboard. On the first voyage, Columbus rode 1 carrack (Santa maria/The Gallega) and 2 caravels (Pinta and The Nina (Santa Clara))

Fact 6:
Before his death, he has had completed 2 books, Book of Privileges 1502 and Book of Prophecies 1505. On these books, he shared his experience, his spiritual conflict, and his success stories.

Fact 7:
On his first journey, he found an Island, claimed it and re-name if Sal Salvador which later being re-named again Bahamas. On this island, Columbus met and allied with the first native tribe he met called Locayan or Taino. The native tribe is polite, kind and friendly. Too bad, Columbus shade dark stories here because he had slaughtered thousands tainos and left 22,000 people.

Fact 8:
First Columbus voyage was in 3 August 1492, Second Columbus voyages was in 24 September 1493, a third voyage was in May 30 1498 and his last journey was in April 2 1502. His second voyage was much easier to him. He led 17 ships that time and 1,200 crews. Sure with loads of Guns and ammos

Fact 9:
During his last journey, Columbus and his crew stroke by unmatched storm that wrecked his ships and stranded him in Panama shores. In this island, Columbus should wait a year before he could come back to his country

Fact 10:
