Sun is one of the most watched planetary objects in the sky. People have admired them, amaze and worship them since thousand of years. Here, we are going to study 10 interesting facts about the sun base on modern science.
1. Fact 1:

Sun is getting bigger and bigger. Today, it is 1,390,000 km in diameter and growing. The hottest gas in our solar system is equal to 1,290,000 earths. That is so large but so hot indeed.
2. Fact 2:
Sun is not yellow. It is white. Our perception captures them as Yellow object because our atmosphere dilutes the sun’s real color light.
3. Fact 3:
Fuel that makes the sun hot and bright is Helium. It produces massive amount of Helium every second without any break. Helium is same compound that makes balloons gas fly high.
4. Fact 4:
Sun has destiny as a source of energy and killing power one day. Every year, sun is bigger, hotter and it keeps growing until it runs out of energy. In the next 4 to 6 billion years from now, Sun is probably not hanging on the horizon.
5.Fact 5:

Sun is more or less 93 millions miles away. Sunlight is move at speed 300,000 km/seconds. To reach the earth, the light needs 8 minutes.
6.Fact 6:
Sun composes 3 different layers. The deepest layer is called the core, the second deepest level is radiate zone and the outer layer is named convective zone. Technically, outer layer is hotter than radiate zone but the outer layer is cooler compare to the core.
7.Fact 7:
Sunray does not cause skin burn or sun tan. Ultraviolet light makes sunburn. Although the sky is cloud, some of us cannot avoid sunburn.
8. Fact 8:
Sun circles the core of Milkyway Galaxy. From the core, the sun is 26,000 light years away. Sun approximately need 225,000,000-250,000,000 to circle the heart of Milky Way one time.
9. Fact 9:
Since centuries, human named sun differently. Some worship it and some do not. Word “Solar” itself is taken from Latin.
10. Fact 10.

Sun’s fire and Earth’s Fire is 2 different type of fire. Sun’s fire is more powerful because they don’t need any oxygen. It comes from the nuclear fusion and the fuel is hydrogen. Hiroshima could be one place on earth that once taste the power of similar sun’s fire came from human’s hand.
